Frequently Asked Questions
Most magnesium products use one form, citrate or oxide. This one combines three (malate, glycinate, citrate) so absorption isn't limited to a single pathway.
Magnesium glycinate in particular is associated with a calming effect, and L-Theanine adds to that. It's not marketed as a sleep aid but many people take it in the evening for that reason.
Glycinate and malate are generally well tolerated. Citrate can have a mild laxative effect at higher doses which is one reason the serving size is capped at 2 capsules.
Check with your healthcare provider, especially if you're on medication or already taking a separate D3, K2 or B-complex product, since overlap is easy to miss.
